We refer to your e-mail dated 19/11/2020 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered on 25/11/2020 under the above-mentioned
reference number Gestdem 2020/7264.
Your application is currently being handled by our services. However, we
will not be in a position to complete the handling of your application
within the time limit of 15 working days which expires today, i.e.
An extension of time is necessary as your application concerns documents
held by different services, which must be consulted. In particular, you
request documents that concern correspondence between the members of the
Commissioner’s Cabinet and lobbies regarding the meeting between
Adina-Ioana Vălean and Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) on
11th June 2020. Also, the COVID 19 outbreak and the current crisis
management in the Commission services undoubtedly has an impact on the
process of handling access to documents requests under Regulation (EC) No
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit by 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
