- The impact assessment study and all documents and correspondence pertaining to the study on common chargers. The study was mentioned by Commissioner Vestager in a written answer to the European Parliament on August 1: http://www.europarl.europa.eu/doceo/docu...

Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.
I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Meeting minutes, correspondence and study on common charger'.
After scrutiny of the documents, I would like to ask for full disclosure of the blackened parts of the documents, in particular in documents "annex 13" and "annex 14". My reading of the documents suggests a potential conflict of interest on behalf of the Centre for European Policy Studies, which is part of the specific contract ("annex 9") but also counts Apple, which indirectly is subject of the study, among its corporate members. It would be helpful to know who signed the Conflict of Interest declaration ("13") and who conducted the evaluation report on behalf of the Commission "14". I argue that therefore the public interest outweighs other concerns preventing disclosure in this case.
A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/meet...
Yours faithfully,
Alexander Fanta
