Meetings and contacts with Solar Impulse Foundation

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Secretariat General of the European Commission should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Secretariat General,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- Minutes of all meetings and exchanges between the cabinet of EC president Ursula Von der Leyen and the Solar Impulse Foundation. This should include any phone call, meeting or video conference since 2019.

- Any correspondence between the secretariat and the Solar Impulse Foundation. This should include but not be limited to correspondence related to the aforementioned meetings, as well as all other email and letter exchanges. It should also include all attachments and accompanying documents contained within the correspondence.

Dear Mr Carter,

We refer to your e-mail of 11/02/2021 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered on 11/02/2021 under reference number
Gestdem 2021/0649.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expired on 04/03/2021.

An extended time limit is needed as the application concerns documents
held by different Services, which must be consulted.

 

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 25/03/2021.

 

We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience, this may cause.
