Hello,
We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 02/03/2023 under case number EASE 2023/1402.
We are currently working on your request. However, we have not yet been
able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of
your request. We will not be able to send you the reply within the
prescribed time limit expiring on 23/03/2023.
The reason is that part of the documents requested originate from third
parties, which must be consulted.
Therefore, in line with Article 7(3) of [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001,
we need to extend this time limit by 15 additional working days. The new
time limit expires on 18/04/2023.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Kind regards,
Flor DIAZ PULIDO

Dear Ms Ewbank,
I refer to your requests for access to European Commission documents
registered on 2 March 2023 under reference number EASE Case 2023/1402.
Your applications are currently being handled. However, we will not be in
a position to complete the handling of your applications within the
extended time limit of 15 working days, which expires on 18 April 2023.
The reason for this is that despite the Commission services’ efforts, the
requests relate to a very large number of documents, which need to be
assessed individually. Such a detailed analysis cannot be carried out
within the normal time limits set out in Article 7 of Regulation (EC) No
1049/2001. Moreover, the handling of your requests involves the assessment
of documents originating from third parties, which need to be consulted on
their disclosure, and might also involve consultation of different
services.
Therefore, we propose to answer to your requests as soon as possible, and
in any case not after 5 May 2023.
We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.
We kindly ask you to confirm your agreement to this arrangement, to the
following e‑mail: [1][email address].
Kind regards,
Flor DIAZ PULIDO
Head of Unit
