Dear Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

All documentation, including but not limited to attendance lists, agendas, background papers, minutes/notes and email correspondence about or summarising, the following meetings of Director-General John Berrigan with organisations:

1. Meeting with Bank of America Corporation on 13/04/2021 regarding "Brexit, Green Finance and FS"
2. Meeting with Fédération bancaire française (FBF) Bundesverband deutscher Banken e.V. (Bankenverband) and Deutsche Bank AG (DB) on 17/02/2021regarding "Basel III"

Please produce the documents on a rolling basis. I would prefer that the Commission’s search and deliberations concerning particular documents not delay the production of documents the Commissions has already retrieved and decided to produce.

We refer to your email dated 29/4/2021 in which you make a request for access to documents, registered on 29/4/2021 under the above mentioned reference number.
Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a position to complete the handling of your application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires on 25/05/2021.
An extended time limit is needed as your application the application concerns several meetings from various sectors from our DG, different actors have to be consulted, documents have to be retrieved, assessed, redacted if necessary and draft letter to be written;

I refer to your requests concerning our Directorate General registered under GESTDEM number 2021/2799, 2021/2797 and 2021/2795. The new time limit for all these requests will expire on 15/6/2021.
You will receive firstly our answer concerning request GESTDEM 2021/2799 on 16 April 2021 and we are dealing with the other requests which will require more time due to search of documents, consultations, assessment of documents and drafting the answer.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days for GESTDEM, 2021/2797 and 2021/2795ys. The new time limit expires on 30/6/2021.But we hope to send our answer early.
