Regulation 1049/2001 adopted on the basis of Article 15 TFEU (ex Article
255 TEC) that you refer to, concerns requests for specific documents of
the European Parliament, Council and European Commission.

Furthermore, as far as requests for access to public information possessed
by public authorities of the Republic of Bulgaria are concerned, the
applicable legal instrument is the Bulgarian Access to Public Information
Act (Закон за достъп до обществена информация, Promulgated SG No. 55 of
7.07.2000, last amended SG No. 82 of
29.09.2023, [1]https://lex.bg/laws/ldoc/2134929408).

We would therefore advise you to seek any relevant information in
compliance with the provisions thereof.
