Meetings with the pharmaceutical industry

We're waiting for Olivier Hoedeman to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear European External Action Service,

On behalf of Corporate Europe Observatory (CEO), I would like to - under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties as developed in Regulation 1049/2001 - request access to the following documents:

- all reports (and other notes) from meetings between EEAS and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry (companies as well as organisations such as EFPIA and the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations, IFPMA) from December 1st 2019 onwards. This should include the following companies: Bayer AG, Novartis International AG, Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, Amgen Inc, F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd, Johnson & Johnson, SANOFI, Pfizer Inc., Gillead, AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly and Company, and MSD (Europe) Inc. (Merck Sharp & Dohme).

- all correspondence (including emails) between the EEAS and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry (companies as well as organisations such as EFPIA and IFPMA) from December 1st 2019 onwards.

- a list of all the above-mentioned documents (including dates, names of participants/senders/recipients and their affiliation, subject of meeting/correspondence). The list should also include meetings that happened via skype, zoom or telephone due to the lockdown and other coronavirus-related circumstances.

This request covers EEAS officials in Brussels, Geneva and elsewhere.
