Monitoring of the case of Robert McCoy, CoR whistleblower
Dear European Anti-Fraud Office,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
In earlier correspondence to me, you mentioned OLAF had undertaking monitoring of the case of Robert McCoy, a bona fide whistleblower who was the financial controller and internal auditor of the Committee of the Regions:
http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/2479/...
I kindly request all documentation (both reports and correspondence) relating to the monitoring of McCoy's case, from the presentation of OLAF's report on October 8, 2003, up until the present day.
Yours faithfully,
James Panichi

Dear European Anti-Fraud Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of European Anti-Fraud Office's handling of my FOI request 'Monitoring of the case of Robert McCoy, CoR whistleblower'.
I am struggling to understand the reasoning behind your decision to deny me access to the documents pertaining to the monitoring of the case of this whistle-blower. I am not asking you to reveal personal information. I am simply asking that you provide documents which can explain to me how his case was monitored and the reason behind such monitoring, some 15 years after he first reported his concerns. This goes to the heart of the EU's response to whistle-blowers and my obtaining this document is critical to gaining an understanding of OLAF's approach to the matter.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/monit...
Yours faithfully,
James Panichi
