Penalties notification

The request was partially successful.

Dear Justice and Consumers,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- A list of which member states have notified the European Commission on the implementation of the provisions on penalties referred to in article 13 of the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC of 11 May 2005

- The content of all member states' notifications of the provisions on penalties referred to in article 13 of the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC of 11 May 2005

- The content of any communication from the European Commission to member states about the provisions on penalties penalties referred to in article 13 of the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC of 11 May 2005

I'm looking forward to receiving your reply.

All the best,
Peter Teffer

Dear Mrs Manfredi,

Many thanks for your elaborate reply.

You wrote that "the UCPD database has not been updated since 2012 as its content is currently being merged into the Consumer Law Database which will go online within the coming weeks as part of the e-justice portal".

Can you let me know when that content will be accessible through the e-justice portal, and through which specific hyperlink I can access it?

Cheers
Peter Teffer

Dear Mr Treffer,

Thanks for your further enquiry to Ms Manfredi who has asked me to reply
on her behalf.
The Consumer Law Database (including information on the Unfair Commercial
Practices Directive) will be accessible through the e-justice portal later
on this spring as part of a regular update, whose timing still needs to be
confirmed.
The link will be  [1]https://e-justice.europa.eu, and there will be a
specific entry for the Consumer Law Database in the navigation.

Best regards,
