Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, European Parliament should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

AccesDocs, European Parliament

Dear Mr Gaffney,

You sent two separate emails with two different but related requests on Saturday 21 August 2021:

- 1) "Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information: all files folders documents notes memos information in the posession of the European Parliament Petitions Committee regarding UAPs/UFOs"
- 2) "can you please furnish me with ALL documents, files, folders, notes, memos on the subject of UAPs/UFOs sent to Mr David Maria Sassoli President of the European Parliament"

Parliament is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Both requests were therefore registered on Monday 23 August 2021, under the reference A(2021)6815.

Since the time limit to reply is of 15 working days, the time limit would in principle expire at the end of this day, Monday 13 September 2021. However, since you are not requesting access to a specific document, but rather to an open category of documents, Parliament needs to hereby extend the time limit to reply to your application, in line with Article 7(2) of Regulation (EC) NO 1049/2001, by another 15 working days, in order to ensure that all relevant documents are identified.

Thank you for your understanding,

Kind regards,
