RDE-LDV working group on defeat devices

The request was partially successful.

Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

-all correspondence (including emails), agendas, minutes of meetings and any other reports of such meetings of the RDE-LDV working group where 'defeat devices', 'cycle beating', 'emission control systems', 'defeat strategies', or in general the tailoring of car emissions to comply with test cycles was discussed/mentioned (between January 2011 and September 2015).

Do not hesitate to get back to me should you need any further information which could facilitate your research.

Thank you for your assistance.

Yours faithfully,

Vincent Harmsen

Dear Mr Harmsen,

We refer to your e-mails dated 29/02/2016 in which you make two requests
for access to documents, registered on 29/02/2016 under the above
mentioned reference numbers.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires today.

An extended time limit is needed as other Services had to be consulted,
such as the historical archives.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 14/04/2016.

We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yours faithfully,
