Re: JORA Variables for Incidents During JO Hermes, Aeneas and Triton, March 2015-Present

The request was successful.

Dear European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting the following information:

In February, I made a freedom of information request (http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/re_jo...) to Frontex on JORA variable for incidents during Operation Hermes/Triton. Frontex gave me a response for Operations Hermes, Aeneas and Triton, 2013-2015, with the following variables:

Operation/Year
Detection date
Search and rescue involved
Incidents
Total number of irregular migrants
Death cases
Irregular migrants in SAR cases
Type of detected by
Detection by Frontex financed/deployed asset
Type of intercepted by
Interception by Frontex financed/deployed asset
Operational area
Transport type
Reference to op.area
Frontex financed/deployed asset during an incident

I am aware that this is not a request for documents, but I was wondering: would it be possible to receive an update on these data from 1 March 2015 to the current time for these operations (Triton, Aeneas and Hermes)? I would appreciate it very much.

In the previous request, the data were sent in .pdf format, and this worked for me.

Yours faithfully,
Keegan Williams

Dear European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders,

The usual 15 days for response to information requests has passed. While I understand Frontex is likely busy, I would like it if they could respond to this request as soon as possible.

I appreciate Frontex's work to complete these requests.

Yours faithfully,
Keegan Williams
