Reports of the European Parliament about de Spanish Transparency Law
Dear European Parliament,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
1. Monitoring, suggestions, reports and correspondence of the European Parliament with the Spanish Government about the Spain's First Transparency Law.
2. Requirements of the European Parliament on the Spanish Government to bring the future Law on Transparency to the standards set by the Regulation 1049/2001.

Further to your request relating to the draft Spanish Transparency law,
please note that we have not been able to find any documents in the
European Parliament's possession on this matter.
We would like to remind you that the scope of Regulation (EC) Nº 1049
/2001 is to provide public access to documents held by the EU
Institutions. Such a regulation does not apply on national/ state level.
European Parliament is not competent on national legislation in member
states , except in the event of a citizens' petition alerting about
possible infringement of EU law; as far as we know this is not the case
with this particular piece of legislation.
Should you have a reference or a type of document in mind please do not
