ECA-INFO, European Court of Auditors

Dear Ms Tackett,
Thank you for contacting the European Court of Auditors (ECA).
The ECA has not carried out any audits of the mentioned Regulation (EC) No
1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2001
regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission
documents. For information regarding the application of the Regulation at
the mentioned institutions, including control and audit, we suggest you
contact directly the institutions concerned.
The ECA applies the mentioned Regulation, the principles and limits of
which are taken into account in the [1]ECA Decision 12/2005 (as
[2]amended) regarding public access to its documents. We reported on our
management of requests for access to our documents to the European
Parliament in the framework of the latest discharge procedure, i.e. for
financial year 2015 (see [3]2015 Discharge - Questionnaire to ECA).
The ECA publishes the results of its audits (financial, compliance and
performance) on its website (see [4]Reports and Opinions).
Kind regards,
(European Court of Auditors information desk)
