Dear European Parliament,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of European Parliament's handling of my FOI request 'Rules covering the Bloc Grant'.
I submitted a number of FOI requests in late April.
A(2016)5301, 5324, 5387, 5390, 5396, 5397, 5398, 5469, 5471, 5474, 5475, 5522, 5524, 5526, 5647, 5649, 5650, 5655, 5754
These were subsequently grouped on 4 May, without my consent, with the unusually broad indication that "You will receive an answer in due time." As these cover a range of subjects, it is unclear why they should all be grouped together.
I have requested that responses be released as they are available, but have not received a response. I appreciate there are a number of requests and am happy to assist in making the process as straightforward as possible for EP staff. You will also note from past use of FOI access that I am not a vexatious abuser of the FOI system.
My request is simply that the FOI responses that have been drafted are released; and that the remainder are released as soon as they are drafted. Otherwise all the FOI responses will be significantly in breach of statutory obligations for prompt delivery.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/rules...
Yours faithfully,
Lee Rotherham
