Saved human lives measures

The request was partially successful.

Dear European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders (FRONTEX),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- the sources of the information that allowed FRONTEX to say, in the press report about HERA III Operation (here: http://frontex.europa.eu/news/hera-iii-o...), that "more than a thousand human lives were saved";

- all the documents related to that figure;

- the methodology to a measure of migrants deaths.

Yours faithfully,

Daniele Grasso

Dear Justyna Jurczak,

thank you very much for the information.

I understand that just are the memeber states who collect those data. But I would also like to know if Frontex does collect data about "lives saved" and migrants deaths on each migratory route(http://frontex.europa.eu/trends-and-rout...)

Yours sincerely,

Daniele Grasso
