Sec Gen + Plastics Strategy + list of lobby meetings
Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I would like to request a list of all lobby meetings held by the Secretariat General since December 2015 where the Commission’s proposed Plastics Strategy was discussed.
Yours faithfully,
Vicky Cann

Dear MS Cann,
Thank you for your e-mail dated 19/12/2017. We hereby acknowledge
receipt of your application for access to documents, which was registered
on the same day under GESTDEM 2017/7539 reference.
In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to
European Parliament, Council and Commission documents, your application
will be handled within 15 working days. The time limit will expire on
18/01/2018.
In case this time limit needs to be extended, you will be informed in due
course.
You have lodged your application via the AsktheEU.org website. Please note
that this is a private website which has no link with any institution of
the European Union. Therefore the European Commission cannot be held
accountable for any technical issues or problems linked to the use of this
system.

2018/163 and 2018/165"
Dear Secretariat-General,
Thank you for the email.
Firstly, could I please ask you to communicate via the Ask the EU website
regarding these requests. That ensures maximum transparency and also
clarity about which requests are being discussed.
Regarding 2017/7539 and 2017/7537 which were directed to the Secretariat
General, I would be happy with the starting point of 26 January 2017. I
would be pleased to receive the documents as quickly as possible.
I think these 2 requests are already quite targetted. 7537 asks for the
minutes of meetings with just 5 organisations. 7539 simply asks for a list
of lobby meetings held on the plastics strategy. I note that DG Fisma
keeps a clear record of all of its lobby meetings (no matter which
official attended) and that helps it to ensure that it can answer similar
requests efficiently. Perhaps the Secretariat-General could help to ensure
that all other DGs follow such good practice, if they do not already do
so.
Regarding 2018/163 and 2018/165, these were directed to DG Environment
where I expect the quantity of the documents requested would be greater.
Perhaps it could get in touch directly with me so that we can find an
appropriate way forward?
I look forward to receiving your confirmation on all of the points above.
Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Vicky Cann
