Services notifications and stakeholder comments
Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
1. All comments provided to the Commission by stakeholders concerning incoming notifications regarding services, since March 1st 2021.
2. Internal communication from the Commission and assessments of notified measures and their compatibility with the Services Directive, since March 1st 2021.
The background for this request is as follows: in 2019 the Commission started publishing incoming notifications regarding services (on its website https://ec.europa.eu/internal_market/imi...). Since then several comments have been requested via freedom of information requests and have subsequently been published by the European Commission (for example: https://www.asktheeu.org/de/request/stak...). With this freedom of information request, I intend to follow up on these previous ones.
Yours faithfully,
Moritz Neujeffski

Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
Regarding, your message from 29 November 2022. Thank you very much for providing the questions the Commission sent to the Member States. Am I right in assuming that since March 1st 2021, no comments have been made via the service notification procedure by stakeholders other than the Commission? Regarding your message from 5 December 2022. Is it possible that you have replied to another Freedom of information request by me regarding the French ban on Bisphenol A (BPA) in 2015 via this (Service Notification) Email exchange?
Yours faithfully,
Moritz Neujeffski
Dear Sir,
Would you be so kind to indicate the case reference number of the request that relates to your first question?
Regarding your second question in relation with our message of 05/12/2022 related to your request registered under EASE 2022/5109, this is the final reply to your initial request.
Yours faithfully,
DG GROW ATD Team
Dear [email address],
I would like to apologise for taking so long to respond. My clarification question, " Am I right in assuming that since March 1st 2021, no comments have been made via the service notification procedure by stakeholders other than the Commission?" was related to the following request of information, registered under the number GESTDEM 2022/5106. In that initial freedom of information request, I asked for:
1. All comments provided to the Commission by stakeholders concerning incoming notifications regarding services, since March 1st 2021.
Since all documents provided by your service included Commission responses, I wanted to clarify that there were comments made to the Commission by external stakeholders.
Yours sincerely,
Moritz Neujeffski
