Statistics of background information of accepted or rejected refugees and asylum seekers since 2015

We're waiting for Muge erturk to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear European Asylum Support Office,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

The age, education background, gender statistics, the reason of rejection of asylum or other reasons of deported people from each EU member state since 2015.

And also the same for accepted asylum seekers and resettled refugees.

And I would like to learn the interview question that are asked during interviews

Reference is made to your e-mail dated 17 November 2019, in which you
submitted a request for access to documents containing the following
information:

Your request for access to documents (No. 09344) has been treated as one
falling under the provisions of Regulation No 1049/2001 regarding public
access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents, which
also applies to EASO documents, and in accordance with Decision No 6
laying down practical arrangements regarding public access to the
documents of EASO, as adopted by its Management Board on 20 September
2011.

Your request was examined and consulted with the EASO’s Department of
Operations and Department of Asylum Support, in particular Asylum
Processes Sector and Research Sector. As a result of this procedure,
please find below the following communication:

 

EASO does not possess any document or/and information summarising the age,
educational background, gender of persons subjected to rejections and / or
deportations related to their asylum processes. The same applies to the
above mentioned statistical data related to positive decisions and / or
resettlement. The [1]Latest Asylum Trends provides information on positive
decisions, however not the reasons or statistical data, as they are not
related to the asylum process and EASO does not collect information in
this regard.

 

You may wish to note, that Eurostat publishes data on numbers of
decisions, outcomes by age and gender. You are invited to consult them
(first instance decisions on applications by citizenship, age and sex:

You might be also interested to consult the [3]Annual Report on the
Situation of Asylum in the EU 2018, which provides a comprehensive
overview of asylum-related developments in the areas of legislation,

Portal, where you will be able to find comprehensive information on the
situation in countries from which asylum seekers originate.
