Status TETRA clinical trial, Project ID: 681027

Waiting for an internal review by Research and Innovation of their handling of this request.

Leonid Schneider

Dear Research and Innovation,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

The current progress status, including ethical evaluation of the TETRA clinical trial, Project ID: 681027
http://cordis.europa.eu/project/rcn/1987...

My email inquiry to EU spokesperson was deliberately ignored. Here their past information from September 2016:
“The TETRA consortium is obliged to send a comprehensive report on clinical trial status to the European Commission every six months, in addition to periodic project progress reports. As the TETRA project started on 01 January 2016, one such report has already been received, subjected to close inspection by the European Commission and deemed satisfactory.
Ethics checks will also take place before the start of the planned clinical trial and mid-term. The ethics review is foreseen before the TETRA patient recruitment, which is scheduled to begin in July 2018”.

https://forbetterscience.com/2016/11/18/...

I wish to ask about the outcome of ethics reviews and all other evaluations TETRA experienced.
I would like to receive the evaluation reports.
Also please provide detailed information at which stage TETRA is now, as well as how much money has been already paid out.

Yours faithfully,

Leonid Schneider

Dear EC ARES NOREPLY,

I received this email on August 8th:
"Dear Sir,
We refer to your email dated 18/07/2017 in which you made a request for access to documents, which was registered on the same day under reference number GestDem 2017/4239. Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a position to complete the handling of your application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires tomorrow 09/08/2017.
An extended time limit is needed as your application requires the consultation of several services.
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 31/08/2017.
We apologize for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.
Yours faithfully,
The access to documents team

Today is August 31st, and the deadline expired. The EU commission simply chose to ignore my inconvenient inquiry.
I wish to lodge a complaint.
Yours sincerely,

Leonid Schneider
