Tackling Urban Violence

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear European Police College,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

1) Tackling Urban Violence - The first CEPOL conference on urban violence was held at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Police (ENSP) near Lyon, France on 15-18 November 2011.

Please provide me with documents relating to this conference, including the agenda, participants list, all reports and presentations made at this conference and any reports or minutes of the conference proceedings or decisions made.

2) Please also provide me with any subsequent follow up reports or actions taken arising from this conference.

3) Please also provide details of any further conferences or meetings on the theme of urban violence e.g.the name, date and/or reference number.

Whilst I appreciate that some of the information I request may be considered by CEPOL to be un-releaseable, I do expect that as much information as possible will be released in a spirit of openness and transparency.

Please send me information in electronic form.

Yours faithfully,

Neil Corney
