Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

The non-EU countries where Frontex provided (or helped coordinate) technical and operational assistance on return-related activities for the years 2017 to 2021. This could include, for example, support in the identification procedure, equipment, or training courses and workshops on return operations, return monitors, handing over processes, etc.

Please provide the month and year, what the activity was, who participated and who organized it.

For example:
- Escort officer training in Chisinau, Moldova, March 2020, organized by Frontex. Participants: 25 Moldavian officials (20 from the Ministry of Interiors − Bureau for Migration and Asylum and 5 from General Inspectorate of Border Police)
- Workshop on the handover process of returnees in Yundum, The Gambia, January 2020, coordinated by Frontex with the support of the Netherlands and Germany. Participants: XXX Gambian officials from the Gambia Immigration Department, national police force, state intelligence service, aviation security, drug enforcement agency and airport fire and rescue service.

The Gambia, coordinated by Frontex with the support of the Netherlands
and German, 20 Gambian officials from the Gambia Immigration
Department, national police force, state intelligence service,
aviation security, drug enforcement agency and airport fire and rescue
service.
• Workshop on detection of forged documents – advanced level, 18-22
October 2021, Ketrzyn, Poland, delivered by POL BG in cooperation with
Frontex and with participation with CED experts. Aiming at enhancing
the visibility of EURLO’s work in the non-EU country, Frontex supports
Poland in capacity building activities for Uzbekistan. Advanced-level
workshop on document forgery was organised by the Polish Border Guard
in Kętrzyn for 10 UZB officials (Border Guard, MoI, Interpol office,
MFA) between 18 and 22 October with contribution from CED experts.
• Workshop on detection of falsified documents, 18-20 May 2021,
Mogadishu, SOM, organised by Frontex with SWE Police. Aiming to
enhance the performance of the EURLO in place and to explore possible
further engagement opportunities with SOM authorities, ECRET supported
a workshop on detection of falsified documents initiated by SWE. CED
also contributed via liaising with SWE for the content of the
information related to the mandate of Frontex in this field of work.
ECRet representative participated in the workshop.
