Training materials on community based policing from EUs police missions

The request was successful.

Magnus Seierstad

Dear European External Action Service,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

We are interested in training materials from EU’s international police missions on “community based policing” or similar approaches: “community-orientated policing”, “responsive policing”, “problem-solving policing” or “neighborhood policing”.
Our main focus is with EUPOL-Afghanistan, EUAM-Ukraine, EULEX-Kosovo and EUPOL COPPS because from our research resulted that they’ve incorporated a community policing dimension but we would be very happy if you could help us with training materials on this subject from the other EU police missions.

We are the consortium for the Horizon 2020 project “Community based policing and post conflict police reform - ICT4COP”.
The project aims at improving community based policing in post-conflict areas and we are currently gathering training materials used by international organizations and states in order to establish best practices on community based policing.

Yours faithfully,
Magnus Seierstad
