Update of the state of "public funding of certain Spanish professional football clubs" investigation and all non confidential documents submitted by the parts.

Competition did not have the information requested.

Dear Competition (COMP),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting and update of the whole "public funding of certain Spanish professional football clubs" investigation* (last news are from 07/03/2014) and all non-confidential documents submitted by the parts under these investigations which contain the following information:

-State aid SA.29769 (2013/C) (ex 2013/NN) – Spain. Investigation of possible tax privileges for Real Madrid CF, Barcelona CF, Athletic Club Bilbao, and Club Atlético Osasuna.

-State aid SA.33754 (2013/C) (ex 2013/NN) – Spain. Investigation of a transfer between the City of Madrid and the club Real Madrid CF involved any state aid in favour of the club.

-State aid SA.36387 (2013/C) (ex 2013/NN) – Spain. Investigation of the compliance with EU state aid rules of guarantees given by the State-owned Valencia Institute of Finance for loans that were used to finance the three Valencia clubs Valencia CF, Hercules CF and Elche CF, while those clubs were seemingly undergoing financial difficulties.

So, briefly, the petition is to ask for all non confidential documents related with these investigations and an update of the investigation state of each one.
And when is a DG Competition decision expected?

I am Adrian Blanco and my postal address is [postal address].

Yours faithfully,

Adrian

They should not have asked for your postal address, and you need not have given it;

from the "how to Request" page here

If an EU body asks for your phone number to discuss or clarify the request we recommend that you give it, but directly to them not across the site. If you do not want to give out your number, you can opt to continue discussing by email or you could ask for their number and arrange a time to phone and discuss the request.

If a public authority asks you for your full, physical address (postal address), reply to them saying that you would prefer to receive information in electronic form. This is your right under Regulation 1049/2001 if the information exists in that format.

Dear Competition (COMP),

What kind of answer is "0 *H 010 +"? Is it a joke?

Yours faithfully,

Adrián

Thanks for the advice and explanation Richard Hunt. They always ask for a postal address and I did not know this option. I will do it in the future.

Dear Competition (COMP),

What kind of answer is "0 *H 010 +"? Is it a joke?
Could you answer me properly?
Thanks

Yours faithfully,

Adrián
