Dear Health and Food Safety,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

Following the entry into force of Implementing Regulation 2020/466, we are requesting access to all applications from EU Member States to the Commission under Article 2, including as stated in the Article – the request to use the temporary measures, the measures taken to remedy difficulties in official controls and other activities in accordance with Regulation 2017/625.

Please note the urgency of this request due to the temporary nature of the measures and the need to ensure high levels of consumer protection during this crisis.

Yours faithfully,

Suzy Sumner
