Your applications for access to documents – GESTDEM 2022/0629
Dear Mr Henning,
We refer to your e-mail of 28 January 2022 in which you make a request for access to
documents, registered on 28 January 2022 under the above-mentioned reference number
and to the subsequent email of 6 February 2022 in which you clarify the scope of your
request.
In your reply, you request all communication (including e-mails, documents, meeting
minutes, etc.) with stakeholders regarding the proposed Directive on improving working
conditions in platform work originating from
- the first stage of the social partner consultation from 24 February to 7 April;
- the second stage of the social partner consultation from 15 June to 15 September;
- the "substantial number of exchanges with many stakeholders";
- and from the two dedicated meetings with platform operators and representatives of
platform workers on 20 and 21 September, 2021,
all as mentioned in pages 10 and 11 of the Explanatory Memorandum on the Directive -
COM(2021) 762, https://ec.europa.eu/social/BlobServlet?docId=24994&langId=en.
Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a position to
complete the handling of your application within the time limit of 15 working days, which
expires on 25 February 2022 as there is a big number of documents that need to be
examined.
An extended time limit is needed to complete the request. Therefore, we have to extend the
time limit with 15 working days in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC)
No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents. The new time limit expires on
18 March 2022.
We apologize for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.
Yours faithfully,
Max UEBE
