Subject: Your application for access to documents – Ref GestDem N° 2016/5975
Dear Madam,
We refer to your e-mail dated 25 October 2016 in which you request access to documents,
registered on the same day under the above-mentioned reference number. You requested
access to the travel expenses of First Vice-President Frans Timmermans for the period 15
March 2015 to 15 May 2015 inclusive.
Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a position to complete
the handling of your application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires today.
An extended time limit is needed following technical difficulties we are experiencing at the
moment while retrieving the data from our database.
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in accordance with Article 7(3)
of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents. The new time limit
expires on 9 December 2016.
We apologize for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.
Yours faithfully,
   [e-signed ]
