Subject: access to documents request - Working Methods of the European Commission 2014-2019

Dear President Juncker,

As you will know, in “The Working Methods of the European Commission 2014-2019” you laid out the requirements for your Commission when engaging with external stakeholders: “While contact with stakeholders is a natural and important part of the work of a Member of the Commission, all such contacts should be conducted with transparency and Members of the Commission should seek to ensure an appropriate balance and representativeness in the stakeholders they meet.”

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting access to all documents setting out the measures put in place to ensure an appropriate balance and representativeness in the stakeholders you meet. I also would like access to any communications between officials (including Commissioners and staff) on this particular issue, as well as any documents related to the implementation and enforcement of these measures.

I look forward to hearing from you.

David Savić
