I met this afternoon, upon her request, with

of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). art 4(1)(b)
out of scope
I gave a broad overview on the state of play of the various files in the countries in our remit. General 
interest from CBI across the board: SGP, VN, India, MAL, IDN, THA, AUS, NZ. out of scope
CBI has asked UK Government to continue favouring an EU pro-trade agenda - so CBI would not 
expect UK to oppose the IDN mandate. In the meantime CBI remains interested in a general 
monitoring of the EU trade agenda – but realises that for the UK it may increasingly become more 
difficult to get their offensive/defensive points across. I of course replied that UK remains a member 
until it leaves…
