Dear Mr.
,
Plastics is one of the main political issues of this year 2018. The European Commission published
the EU Strategy on Plastics & proposal for a SUP-Directive and the European Parliament had a
couple of debates. Also Nestlé is very much committed that none of our plastics ends up in the
environment, particularly in our rivers and oceans (see the Europe version of our Global
Commitment attached).
I would like to enquire whether you would be willing and available for a meeting with our
Sustainability Packaging Expert,
, and myself on that topic.
We would like to propose a meeting on Monday 18th of June (ideally in the afternoon in/around
the EP), since Mr
is in Brussels only that day. Would that suit you?
Many thanks for your consideration and kind regards
