Dear Ms Parnell,
I refer to your e-mail of 21 June 2019, registered on the same date, by which you submitted
an application for access to document in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001
regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents
(“Regulation 1049/2001”).
Your request refers to “
Any research on 5G electromagnetic frequencies microwave/
millimetre radiation and the effect on human and biological life and the environment”.
I would like to inform you that electromagnetic radiation effect research on human, biological
life and the environment does not fall within the area of the BEREC and the BEREC Office
responsibility.
For this reason, the BEREC Office does not hold any documents that would correspond to
the description given in your application. We are, therefore, unable to handle your
application.
We note that the public health-related issues are dealt by the Directorate-General for Health
and Food Safety (DG SANTE), to which you may refer your request.
The present reply constitutes the final decision to your initial application. Please note that you
may, within 15 working days, make a confirmatory application asking the BEREC Office to
reconsider its position.

additional information, if needed.
