Subject: Your application for access to documents – Ref. Ares (2020)2037464
Dear Mr Schneider,
We refer to your email dated 08/04/2020 in which you make a request for access to
documents, registered on 14/04/2020 under the above-mentioned reference number. In
particular, you requested access to “
the proposal as written by Dr Ferrari and mentioned
in his resignation letter. If there are two versions (one for ERC governing body and one for
EU Commission president Ursula von der Leyen), I request both documents.”
We have identified one document falling under the scope of your request, namely the
motion of Prof. Mauro Ferrari to the ERC Scientific Council. However, we could not
identify the second requested document, i.e. proposal of Mauro Ferrari related to the
COVID -19 pandemic to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der
Leyen, which is not in possession of the Agency.
The complete proposal submitted by Prof. Ferrari to the ERC Scientific Council is included
in Annex I of the point summary, which is now published on the ERC web site and can be
consulted
