Subject: Reply to your application for access to documents - ATD 07/2020
Dear Ms Balog,
We refer to your email of 30 October 2020 in which you make a request to EIOPA
for access to documents containing information on the social insurance
contributions that you have paid in the UK between 2011 and 2017.
EIOPA processed your application in accordance with the provisions of
Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council1.
We regret to inform you that no documents were found that would correspond to
the description given in your application. It is not in EIOPA’s mandate as specified
in Articles 1 and 8 of Regulation (EU) No 1094/20102 to keep information on Union
citizen’s pensions rights under national pillar 1-pension systems, as per your
As specified in Article 2(3) of Regulation 1049/2001, the right of access applies
only to existing documents in the possession of EIOPA.
Given that no such documents have been identified, EIOPA is not in a position to
handle your request.
