Artificial intelligence in the European Union

Estamos a la espera de que Henrique Palumbo lea una respuesta reciente y de que actualice el estado.

Dear European Parliament,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
documents that cover how artificial intelligence (AI) is seen, understood and intended to be used by the European Union.

I am a student in Braga (Portugal) doing a project for a PhD thesis in artificial intelligence.

I would like to understand how the European Union and member states see artificial intelligence, which countries have more significant restrictions against the use of AI, how the EU sees AI on the issue of security, defense, and cooperation with the US and UK, and if there is any EU foreign policy, now or in the future in this regard.

Please send the documents to me in electronic format.

Yours faithfully,
Henrique Palumbo
