Certification Documents for Socata TC-360 Tangara

Esperando una revisión interna por parte de Agencia Europea de Seguridad Aérea de cómo han respondido a esta solicitud.

Dear European Aviation Safety Agency,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

Any and all information related to the certification or attempted certification by Socata (now DAHER-SOCATA) of the so-called Tangara TC-360 based on the Grumman (Gulfstream) GA-7 Cougar. I request all application materials including engineering studies, test data, structural and flight characteristic analysis, correspondence to and from any licensing agency, including EASA, Airworthiness certificates, Pilot Operating Handbook and operating limitations. These documents are most likely dated between 1976 and 1981, but may extend beyond those dates. I am willing to pay a reasonable amount for copying and postage to send this material to my address in the United States if necessary.

Yours faithfully,

David Comarow

Dear BRANDKAMP Carola,

In response to your request to clarify my request, I wish to make clear I am seeking only documentation related to application for certification of a modified variant of the Grumman GA-7 Cougar (previously manufactured by Gulfstream) intended to use two 180 HP engines. Socata applied for certification of this aircraft and intended to market it as the "Tangara 360," but never produced more than one or two for flight testing. The aircraft it was based upon was powered by two 160 HP engines, so this was an increase in power for the same airframe. I am seeking any and all engineering documents, test data and analysis submitted to obtain certification for the Tangara 360. I do not need any documentation on certification of the Grumman GA-7 Cougar (possible referred to as the "Tangara 320"). I hope this helps narrow my request. Please feel free to contact me for further clarification if needed.

Yours sincerely,

David Comarow

Dear BRANDKAMP Carola,
