Classification of EU documents
Dear European Council,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as
developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting access to any
documents previously classified as SECRET UE or TOP SECRET UE which
have since been declassified.
I am a journalist based in Brussels and I am writing an article about
EU information security.
I believe it is in the public interest to know whether the EU document
classification system is fit for purpose or not.
Please send the documents to me in electronic format.
Yours faithfully,
Andrew Rettman
