Article 6 paragraph 3 of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European
Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2001 on public access to documents
of the European Parliament, of the Council and of the Commission, provides
for the possibility of consulting with applicants in order to find a fair
arrangement when the application cannot be fulfilled within the set dates.
It is for that purpose that we are sending you this email. The
authorisation to disclose the main document provided by the company
involved in the meeting concerned by your request for access to document,
as well as the final approval of the draft response concerning your
request, are still pending. According to our estimates, the processing of
your request would take another 5 working days, we would therefore kindly
ask for your agreement for a further delay of 5 working days in order to
complete your request.

 

In view of the above, could I ask for your response at your earliest
convenience to indicate your agreement (in the context of Article 6,
paragraph 3 of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001) to this additional period for
the processing of your request.
