Dear European Council,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

contain the following information:

1. Public consultation on the possible revision of the Tobacco
Products Directive 2001/37/EC
2. Public consultation on the SCENIHR pre-consultation opinion on
the Addictiveness and Attractiveness of Tobacco Additives

Yours faithfully,

SECRETARIAT DGF Access, Consejo Europeo

Dear Mr McClure,

Thank you for your request for access to documents of the Council of the
European Union and/or the European Council.

Unfortunately, the Transparency team of the Council has been unable to
match any specific document to the wording of your request.

To help you further define your query, may we suggest that you conduct a
search within the Council's public register at
[1]http://register.consilium.europa.eu/ The Council's public register
contains references to most Council documents since 1999 (exceptions may
apply regarding classified documents), of which approximately 75% are
public and available for downloading.

By choosing the option "Advanced search", you can search for documents
using several criteria, for example: document number, words in title or
text, subject matter and interinstitutional file number. For more
information and useful hints, you can consult "How to search in the
register".

If you find a document in the register that cannot be directly downloaded
(i.e. marked by a "broken" pdf icon), you may introduce a request for
access by using the available electronic form.

In addition, the Transparency team also refers to our reply of 25 October
2012 to this same request where we have informed you that public
consultations are managed by a different Institution - the European
Commission and where we recommend that you contact that institution
through the following web pages:

For access to documents in general:

For public consultations:

Yours sincerely,

For the General Secretariat of the Council
