Contacts with finance industry about MIFID

La respuesta a esta solicitud está muy retrasada. Representación Permanente del Reino Unido ante la UE ya debería haber respondido (detalles). Puedes apelar pidiendo una revisión interna.

Dear Permanent Representation of UK to the EU,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- Information about all contacts (including emails and letter exchanges) between members of the Permanent Representation of the UK and banks and financial institutions (including: pension funds, asset management companies, trading venues, asset managers), in relation to the recast of MIFID (the Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on markets in financial instruments repealing Directive 2004/39/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council) since 1 January 2012.

- A list of meetings that took place between the parties mentioned in 1) since 1 January 2012.

Please produce the documents on a rolling basis. At no point should the search for-or deliberations concerning-certain documents delay the production of others that have already retrieved and eligible for disclosure. In the event this application relates to a very large number of documents, we are open to confer informally with a view to finding a fair solution within the prescribed time limits.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Natacha Cingotti
