Dear Climate Action,
Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.
I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'DG CLIMA - minutes of meetings - Energy stakeholders'.
In conformity with Article 7(4) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents (hereafter “the Regulation”), I hereby submits a confirmatory application regarding the Commission's refusal to provide the information I requested on 08 April 2021 under reference number - GESTDEM 2021/2139 – SG; GESTDEM 2021/2140 – DG CLIMA.
After an extension by the Commission of their deadline to respond by 15 working days, DG Clima access to document’s team declared that « due to the extraordinary health and security measures » they cannot fulfil my request, and Sec Gen responded by saying they didn’t held the requested documents, while all the minutes referred to in the requests have been made public on the Commssion’s website, and should have been documented by minutes of meetings. Art. 7(4) of the Regulation therefore entitles us to make a confirmatory application.
We accordingly urge you to disclose the requested information in the shortest time possible.
A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/dg_c...
Yours faithfully,
Lala Hakuma Dadci
