Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

1) a list of meetings of DG GROW's officials and/or representatives (including the Commissioner and the Cabinet) and Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft (Volkswagen AG), Daimler Aktiengesellschaft (DAI) and Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft (BMW Group) in which Dieselgate, car emissions, defeat devices in the emission context and/or emissions testing (real proving emissions-rpe) and type approval were discussed (between September 2015 and today, i.e. 15.09.2017);

2) minutes and other reports of these meetings;

3) all correspondence (including emails) between DG GROW officials and/or representatives (including the Commissioner and the Cabinet) and Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft (Volkswagen AG), Daimler Aktiengesellschaft (DAI) and Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft (BMW Group) in which Dieselgate, car emissions, defeat devices in the emission context and/or emissions testing (real proving emissions-rpe) and type approval were discussed (between September 2015 and today, i.e. 15.09.2017).

I would appreciate if you could take the Code of Good Administrational Behaviour into account when considering section 1 of this request.

Before going ahead with the handling of your application, could you please confirm at your earlier convenience that with the term "real proving emissions-rpe" you mean what is generally known as "real driving emissions-rde"? If it is not the case, we would be grateful if you could give us more details on this term.

reference number.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 10/10/2017.

An extended time limit is needed as part of the documents requested
originate from third parties which have been consulted. Therefore, we have
to extend the time limit with 15 working days in accordance with Article
7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents.
The new time limit expires on 31/10/2017.
