Documents and correspondence between InGenius and European Commission
Dear Madam/Sir,
Referring to Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 on public access to EU documents and to the 'Aarhus Regulation', I would herewith like to ask for access to the following:
1) Please share all public documents concerning the STEM education project inGenious (and other local/ national derivatives of inGenious such as Jet-net) with the European Schoolnet project including:
a) Email correspondence between involved parties, (particularly between EU Commission representatives and Shell) between the years 2011-2021)
b) Lists of meetings regarding of inGenious with Commission representatives
c) Minutes of meetings regarding the 'inGenious' project
d) Curriculum documents from 'It's all about energy' in the ten different languages it was translated in and spread by inGenious
e) And any other documents regarding inGenious:
including which energy, airline and car companies are involved?
Including which Ministries of Education were involved
Including which EU Commission representatives were involved
2) How much was given by the EU to fund inGenious between 2011 and 2021?
3) Out of the Ministries of Education cooperated in inGenious please share any agreements:
a) Where employees from energy companies had made deals with national schools e.g. to overcome a shortage in teachers.
b) Or where energy, or transport industry employees have given incidental guest lessons
4) Please share any available inGenious lesson material from companies in the fossil fuel, car and air travel industries.
5) Was any EU public money used to fund Jet-Net?
a) Does the European Union fund similar national STEM education projects linking energy companies to national secondary and primary schools, please supply a list of projects and schools
6) Please share all email correspondence between the European Commission and the European Schoolnet's Ministers of Education STEM representatives between 2015 and 2021.
7) Is STE(A)M IT funded with any EU public money? If so, how many Euros the EU Commission has paid on STE(A)M, and is planning to fund in the next five years?
8) Please share all email correspondence between the Stem Alliance and the European Commission between 2015-2021
9) Please share all email correspondence between STE(A)M IT representatives and European Commission representatives?
10 ) Is the STEM Alliance funded with any EU public money? If so, how much public money is used to fund this? Please supply a list per year.
11) Is the European Schoolnet funded with any EU public money?
a) Which 33 European Ministries of Education does the European SchoolNet Work with?
b) Which industry partners do the 33 European Ministries of Education from the
European Schoolnet work with?
c) Which industry partners have visited schools, or influenced curriculum in countries in
the EU? Notably countries represented by the 33 European Ministries of Education
12) What programmes have been run by the STEM Alliance and STE(A)M between Shell, Transport Malta, Airbus and Lego Education and the European Schoolnet's Ministries of Education particularly with representatives of Ministries of Education (Belgium (Flanders), Belgium (Wallonia), Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain and Turkey)”

13) For the STEM Alliance "Back to School Campaign" between 2-19 November

b) Please share all teaching resources recommended
c) How many school visits took place, in particular from Shell and Airbus?

the STEM Alliance hosted
14) How many lobbying meetings has the EU Commission had between 2011 and 2021 regarding Stem Education
a) Please share number of meetings
b) Minutes of meetings
c) Any relevant email threads
15) Question on checks and balances for curriculum
Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.
I reserve the right to appeal.
