Dear Mr Dohle,

The Roundtable and exposition of 6^th June 2012 on the closure of child
care institution are not events organised by the European Parliament.

They were organised by the ARK organisation and sponsored by Mrs
McGuinness, in her capacity of Member of the European Parliament.

Mrs McGuinness Office informed us that the costs of these events were
handled directly between the association ARK and the catering services.

We draw your attention to the fact that the political work of Members in
their individual capacity is not part of official proceedings of
Parliament and no records are hold.

Parliament’s premises may be used for initiatives and events of European
interest and Members are entitled to organise or sponsor events or
exhibitions, subject to the availability of the area requested and the
equipment required.

Of course, Parliament does not cover any expenses incurred by a sponsoring
Member in the organisation of an event or exhibition, who remains fully
responsible for his/her event vis-à-vis Parliament.

We hope that the above information will be helpful in your research.

Kind regards,
