On behalf of the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA), I would like to - under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties as developed in Regulation 1049/2001 - request access to the following documents:
- all reports (and other notes) from meetings between Directorate General Santé and representatives of the tobacco industry (producers, distributors, importers etc, as well as trade associations and chambers of commerce, or other organisations and individuals that work to further the interests of the tobacco industry) related to the EU-Mercosur negotiations, since January 1st 2017.
- all correspondence (including emails) between the DG Santé and representatives of the tobacco industry (producers, distributors, importers etc, as well as trade associations and chambers of commerce, or other organisations and individuals that work to further the interests of the tobacco industry) since January 1st 2017.
- a list of all the above-mentioned documents (including dates, names of participants/senders/recipients and their affiliation, subject of meeting/correspondence)

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'EU-Mercosur and Tobacco'.
Since the extended deadline for providing documents passed yesterday (15/05/2018), and we have not received anything we are asking for a review of this.
By law, under all circumstances, we should have received a response by now. This lack of response is not satisfactory. We therefore ask you to respond as quickly as possible, and provide the relevant documents, or explain why you have not done so.
