FuelsEurope correspondence on CO2 standards for light duty vehicles.

La solicitud fue exitosa.

Dear Climate Action,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

All correspondence, including emails their attachments, sent and received since 23/03/2016 between the Commission for Climate Action, his cabinet, his officials and any other representatives of DG Clima, and the organisation FuelsEurope (Transparency Register ID number: 26207914726-24) relating to Regulation (EU) No 443/2009 and Regulation (EU) No 510/2011 setting CO2 emission performance standards for light duty vehicles.

The existence of one such email (dated 28/10/2016) is confirmed in the ‘additional comments box’ of FuelsEurope’s official contribution to the consultation on the same regulation, also sent on 28.10.2016 (Contribution ID: 564f6397-df48-47c4-9382-08601357af61).

I would prefer you to produce the documents on a rolling basis. The Commission’s search or deliberations concerning certain documents should not delay the release of other documents that the Commission has already retrieved and elected to produce.

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also, I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.

Please confirm having received this application. I look forward to your reply within 15 business days, according to the regulation.

Yours faithfully,

Edward Collins
