Documents that provide information about the decision taking and/or the fact that the
UN’s 2009 Guidelines for the alternative care of children are to be considered as legal basis for the EU.

Including, but not limited to, documents that clarify that these Guidelines are formal UN Guidelines.

In the meantime, we have been informed by the Directorate-General Justice
and Consumers that the acknowledgement of receipt has been sent to you on
03/08/2018 under Gestdem reference 2018/4225.

 

In view of this, we would like to inform you that the Secretariat General
will not register your confirmatory application at this stage.

 

However, upon receipt of the initial reply, if you wish to submit a
confirmatory request in accordance with Article 7 of the Regulation (EC)
No 1049/2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and
Commission documents, you remain free to do so.
