Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation ECB/2004/3, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

1) All communications (including, but not limited to, letters, emails, notes, minutes) in the possession of the ECB that refer directly or indirectly to an access to information request by Gavin Sheridan dated December 9 2011.

2) All communications (including, but not limited to, letters, emails, notes, minutes) in the possession of the ECB that refer directly or indirectly to an Article 7.2 appeal in relation to a request by Gavin Sheridan dated December 9 2011.

3) All communications (including, but not limited to, letters, emails, notes, minutes) in the possession of the ECB that refer directly or indirectly to a decision by the ECB president Mario Draghi to refuse access to the above mentioned request.

Dear Sir,

The ECB hereby confirms receipt, on 3 September 2012, of your application
for access to "all communications (including, but not limited to,
letters,  e-mails, notes, minutes) in the possession of the ECB that refer
directly or indirectly to 1) an access to information request by Gavin
Sheridan dated December 9 2011;  2) an Article 7.2 appeal in relation to
this request and 3) the  decision by the ECB president to refuse access to
the above mentioned request".

As clarified on previous occasions, please note that access to ECB
documents is governed by Decision ECB/2004/3 (the unofficial consolidated
version of this ECB  Decision is  available at

within the deadline foreseen by this ECB Decision.
