Dear Madam, Sir,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
All documents related to the infringement case INFR(2019)4002, relating to the Netherlands' failure to comply with Union law on the use of electric fishing by the Netherlands
Since the case has been closed on 19 May 2022, article 4.2 of Regulation 1049/2001 does not apply here. Even if it were to be argued that it does, there is an overriding public interest, because of the importance of correct and swift transposition of the Directive - which is meant to guarantee protect citizens against harmful environmental noise
Please note I prefer to receive the documents in digital format, not by physical mail.

Dear Madam, Sir,
I refer to your letter regarding my application for access to documents GESTDEM 2022/3044, dated 29 June 2022. In return, I expect that the request can be handled within the (extended) time limit.
Thank you and good luck finalising the reply.
