International bulk purchase and wrong delivery

Comité Económico y Social Europeo ha contestado y dice que tienes que remitir tu solicitud a otra institución.

Dear European Economic and Social Committee,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

What should/can be done when after purchasing items from a B2B company they deliver wrong items, not the ones specified in the e-mails discussing the deal and not the ones specified in the invoice. After informing the company about the wrong delivery no action is taken.
I live in Lithuania and the company in question is located in England.

Yours faithfully,

Jevgenij

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your E-mail and your interest.

The European Economic and Social Committee is an advisory body of the EU where representatives of the employers, the trade unions and other interests such as farmers, charities, civil servants, cooperatives or consumers (among others) meet and contribute to European policy-shaping.

As far as your query is concerned, we take the view that it cannot be considered as a request for access to documents as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, but rather an information request under the Code of good administrative behaviour. In addition, your request does not fall within the EESC's remit. The European Commission is the relevant institution for dealing with your request for information.
