Dear Climate Action,
Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.
I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Meeting with the Secretary General of the Energy Charter'.
You have decided to expunge the document with the reference number of Ares(20
14)4080535 on the basis that it contains personal data pursuant to Article 4(1) (b) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001. This is with specific reference to names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers. I can refer to an earlier succesful request made to Climate Action regarding meeting and correspondence made by Thomas O'Neill on March 20 2017, where the access was granted, but the documents simply redacted: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/dg_c.... I see no reason why the same thing couldn't be done in the case of my request.
Furthermore, no documents containing the minutes, agenda, briefings or summary of the meeting has been provided. If this part of the request can not be met, a reason and legal basis for this should be provided. If no reason can be provided, these documents should be disclosed.
A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/meet...
Yours faithfully,
Anna Maskell
